Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to PLNK ~ We're so glad you're here!
Below you'll find answers to some of the most common questions. If you don't see what you're looking for, feel free to reach out! We're always happy to help.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout designed to strengthen, lengthen, and balance your body. It focuses on core strength, control, flexibility, and posture, while improving overall alignment and body awareness.
Do I need any experience to join?
Not at all! PLNK welcomes all bodies and all levels.
Whether you're brand new or advanced, our instructors offer modifications and progressions so you can move confidently at your own pace.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable active wear that allows you to move freely and helps your instructor observe your alignment. Please avoid loose fitting clothing or clothing with zippers or buttons, as they can damage or get caught in the equipment.
Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene. Socks are available for purchase at the studio.
What should I bring?
Grip socks and water! There's a water refill station, and bottled water for purchase.
Do you offer memberships or class packages?
Absolutely! We offer single classes, class packs, and monthly memberships to fit your schedule and goals. You can find our pricing on our website, Instagram and the PLNK App.
How do I book a class?
Booking is simple! Download the PLNK Pilates App or visit our Classes section on the website to reserve your spot. Classes tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend reserving your spot in advance.
When should I arrive for class?
Please arrive 10 minutes early, especially if it's your first class. To ensure a smooth, distraction-free class experience, studio doors will be locked at the start of each session.
What's the Virtual Kiosk?
A choose-your-own Pilates adventure! Our Virtual In-Studio Kiosks features over 800 classes – from pre and postnatal or injury specific, jump board, beginners, intermediate, you name it! Just connect your headphones, select the class and instructor on the screen, hop on a reformer and let the good vibe roll! No live instructor needed.
Do you have changing rooms or restrooms?
Yes, we have a clean, comfortable restroom.
Is Pilates safe for people with injuries?
For many injuries, yes! We recommend getting medical clearance from your doctor and always inform your instructor about your injury before class, ideally in advance so they can provide modifications and monitor your form.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand life happens! To avoid a late cancel or no-show fee, please cancel at least 8 hours before your scheduled class using the app or website. Late cancellations or no-shows result in a class credit loss or a $15 fee.
Where is PLNK Pilates located?
We're located in the Yelm Hwy Corporate Center in Lacey. There is plenty of free parking.
