Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to PLNK ~ We're so glad you're here!

Below you'll find answers to some of the most common questions. If you don't see what you're looking for, feel free to reach out! We're always happy to help.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout designed to strengthen, lengthen and balance the body. It focuses on core strength, control flexibility, posture and alignment, while improving overall body awareness.

Do I need experience to join?

Not at all. PLNK welcomes all bodies and all experience levels. Our instructors offer thoughtful modifications and progressions so you can move safely, confidently and at your own pace.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely and helps instructors observe alignment. Avoid loose-fitting clothing, zippers or buttons that may damage equipment.

Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene and are available for purchase at the studio.

What should I bring?

Grip socks and water. The studio has a water refill station and bottled water available for purchase.

How do I book a class?

Download the PLNK Pilates app or visit the Classes section on our website to reserve your spot. Classes often fill up quickly, so we recommend booking in advance.

How long is a class?

All PLNK sessions are 50 minutes long.

When should I arrive for class?

Please plan to arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled class time (no earlier than 10 minutes before). This allows our instructors time to reset equipment and prepare the studio, while still giving you time to check in, get settled and meet your instructor.

Where can I store my belongings?

Lockers are available for your personal items during class. Feel free to store your bag, phone and other belongings safely inside before you head to your reformer.

Do you have changing rooms or restrooms?

Yes, we have a clean, comfortable restroom.

Do you offer memberships or class packages?

Yes. We offer single classes, class packs and monthly memberships. Pricing is available on our website, Instagram and the PLNK Pilates app.

How does the waitlist work?

When a class reaches capacity, you may join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will receive a notification confirming that you have been added to the class.

Clients may be added from the waitlist up to 1 hour before the class begins.

What if I'm running late?

For the safety and flow of class, studio doors are locked once class begins and late entry is not permitted. We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early.

What class should I take first?

If you are new to Pilates or new to PLNK, we recommend starting with our Intro to Pilates class. These classes are designed to help you become familiar with the equipment, foundational movements and studio flow. Our instructors will guide you through the exercises and provide modifications so you can move safely and confidently.

Can I take class if I'm pregnant?

In many cases, yes. We recommend receiving medical clearance from your doctor before participating in Pilates during pregnancy.

Please inform the studio before booking so we can schedule you with an instructor who has experience working with prenatal clients and can provide appropriate modifications.

Do you offer refunds or extensions?

All memberships and class packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. Extensions may be considered only in the case of medical situations or injuries.

Where is PLNK Pilates located?
